Nile Koetting presents site-specific sensory spatial scenarios for the SB – Space Between. Koetting is known for his installation practice with a diverse range of media to include video, performance, and sound including collaboration with composer, videographer, and writer. His projects have been exhibited in museum and gallery spaces internationally. For the interdisciplinary cultural space, which is located in the middle of the Steinbühl S-Bahn station on a barren staircase and busy forecourt, Koetting develops a site specific audio visual sensory scenario, in collaboration with composers and artists as well as data analysts. Inspired by experience working in the service industry in Japan where BGM (background music) are flooded in every social environment, Koetting hosts a space where audiences are invited to sleep overnight, grab tea, or just simply relax, while the atmosphere of the space is being analysed and translated into data.
Due to the limited number of treatments, reservations are necessary for the individual slots.
